This is a blog to fill the gap of homeschool blogs out there. This blog comes from the prespective of a very busy single mom who is in the beginning stages of homeschooling and doing it with no assistance. I will discuss the good, bad and all the truthful ugly that comes with this gift of homeschooling.

We Need to Require Better

November 8, 2016 by Kay Leave a Comment

As I sit here working on creating burp cloths to sell, because no matter who wins, I still have to provide for my child, I can’t help but be really annoyed that we, as a country, are in a position of stpresidential-election-1336480_960_720ressing out and feeling sick because we are scared about who is about to be nominated our next president. It isn’t supposed to be this way. We are supposed to be proud of both candidates and only be nervous about whether or not our guy or girl will win. We should not be feeling shame and frustration because, at the end of the day, we aren’t truly happy about anyone of the candidates we have to choose from. How did we get to this place where we were not given viable options? We have to do better.

We…..the great citizens of America that made this nation great before we allowed the crazies of our nation to step out and rule our world. We must do better for the sake of our kids and grandkids to come. No matter who you voted for our country will never be the same. I personally am sad to feel like I have to leave this country because it no longer serves the greater good. We have lost our morality, integrity, and all around goodness. Our society has fallen shorter and shorter for decades now. This is the end of the world as we know it. After tonight our country will be changed forever. Will we all survive? Only time will tell.

ballot-1294935_960_720The person that wins this office can be the catalyst to this nation being blown up by our enemies. You may not have thought of that, but it’s true. We could be placed in the line of fire because of the vote of many and the actions of others. No matter what, we all have to live with the consequences of the votes everyone has made for whatever reason. My hope is we all learn a valuable lesson, open our eyes, and begin to require more from those who decide to try to run for office and stand against anyone who is not worthy of the title. I hope we never end up in a position of having to feel this way because our options suck. This voting for the lesser of two evils crap is unacceptable and old. We deserve better as a nation and the generations to come deserve better also. God bless you all.
